Whatever you do not buy anything from them. You’d think that by selling leads at $70 each they would at least check to verify them but it’s a bunch of people that lie on the application and none of them ever qualifies.

Absolutely ZERO stars. They are in the business of taking your money., but not producing quality leads. The filters they will say they have no control over the leads actually being qualified.

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY...

A few yrs back I did business with Data lot for live transfer life leads. They were great. Recently I decided to start buying leads again and reached out to them to get things rolling. This time around all I can say is that they are now a scam operation. They tell the leads to lie to the agents about their health, and on more than one occasion I got a blank transfer... meaning there was no one on the line and they refused to credit me for the call. I sent the recording of the client telling me how the agent told him to lie to me to the account manager Kathleen Shugg and she refused to address the fact that the agent told the prospect to lie to me. So this in my opinion is no longer a company that I would recommend to anyone. If it happened to me it will most likely happen to you.

I had an account open with this company for sometime and eventually learned how to develop my own leads and so didnt need the account anymore. I asked for a refund from John Michael-Genco was told my check would be mailed. 3 weeks later no check has been received. I emailed and called company and spoke with representative and was told someone would call and check in with me to fix this and I havent received any calls. So now Im constantly trying to track this company down for my money and literally am getting NO where. Its sad cause i figured this company was reputable enough to communicate effectively but I guess not. Unless you want to be beat for your money I do not recommend this company...

Datalot is a scam. The last 2 weeks there were no live xfers. When there were live transfers, one lady told me she was responding to a tv ad for $13 a month life insurance for $50k of coverage for seniors. This is the kind of fraudulent advertising that all of these lead companies use to generate low quality leads that they charge between $60-$250 for. The next call I got was a guy who said he had a heart attack. If you have a heart attack, you can't get life insurance. The next call I got was a guy with dementia. If you have dementia, you can't get life insurance. Most places out there refund all of these calls. Datalot did not refund even one of them. That is when I told them to close my account and refund my money. That was last week and I still have yet to hear anything back or receive the money left in my account. My account manager was named Emily and she was awful. I never heard from her unless I emailed her. She would not go over my numbers for the month. Gave no suggestions of how to maximize my results. I already see this company's ratings are low, but I just wanted to make sure nobody invests with them.

Unfortunately, I did not read reviews before I purchased these bad leads. This rep Gus will ring your phone and answer all your emails on time until you purchase. Then you will be working with Emily, she's very vague and can be careless about your loss of money.
They have the worst leads you can ever purchase. DO NOT fall for Gus little sales pitch, the leads are bad. They lied about how they filter the leads and will not give you a refund. Another agent warned me but then I should have listened.

Those customers have no prior insurance, several incidents, you will not be able to close them. But they will promise you a high closing rate.
What you read about the reviews from other victims is not a lie. The leads are not good leads.

This company takes advantage of sick elderly people with dementia and the agents that are paying $80 for leads. They claim that they refund for people that are sick, but they do not. I have had people get on the the phone with me crying because datalot representatives are calling them over and over forcing them to get on a call with an agent. I know people personally getting sued because datalot is transferring people on the DNC list. At first this company seemed great and I was making a lot of sales, then I was getting hit with chargebacks and was getting calls from the clients kids stating they have power of attorney over their parents because they are sick. I do not recommend using this company because you will be digging yourself out of a hole for months and drowning with chargebacks. I am a season agent cementing the deals and have used other lead vendors and have never had problems with chargebacks like this.

I have used a lot of lead companies and this company is one of the worst. I spent $1000 and leads were $70 a call to have unqualified customers not looking for quotes a lot of times on the phone. The return process is basically worthless as they really wont return much unless the customer hangs up. My leads were subsidised by my employer by on a 70/30 split I also got like an extra $500 for signing up too and these leads were so bad I still did not get my investment back. If you're looking for just a warm body to talk to sign up with this company! If you're looking to write business and make money try someone else!

If zero stars existed that is what I would award. I am not a new agent, I've been around. Previous to going independent I worked for a national call center, so this type of work is not new to me. These leads are not quality. They often come in thinking they are receiving "free insurance", or are people with zero income. I could go walk the streets of Atlanta and talk to people with zero income for free. The truly disgusting part of this business is the fact they will not refund you for leads that disconnect less than a minute into a call. You will pay over $70 for 50 seconds. I don't know about you but I could hire a dedicated appointment setter and buy some aged leads for a heck of a lot cheaper than that. I spent $1400 dollars in 10 days. I could have paid someone to make calls for me at $17.50 for 80 hours for that sum. I made one sale from Datalot for $200. 7 of those calls at $70-$78 a pop were calls that were less than 3 minutes that the person either hung up on me, or was not looking to actually purchase anything. For a comparative I have spent $29 on FB marketing and made $3000. This is not a company that is part of that "good, cheap, or fast" conundrum. They are not good. They are not cheap. I will give them fast, they keep the calls flowing, but fast is clearly their only priority. The transfers are unprofessional, the call quality is poor, and their refund system is disgusting. Stay away from Datalot.

Worse live transfers I ever received! Don't waist your money, not worth $60 a lead with their qualification process. Half the leads I received weren't qualified and they refuse to refund them for me. Better off going with All Web leads, cheaper and better qualified and they will refund for the leads that don't meet your qualifications/filters. Very disappointed and a waist of $400, never again!
