Step 1 โ Claim your page
Search for your agency first: many are already listed from public business-listing data. If yours is there, claim it and it becomes yours; if not, add it. Claiming is free and always will be, and it is what lets you edit the profile and reply to reviews.
Claiming means proving you control the agency's domain. Five methods, whichever suits your access:
- Role-based email at
admin@,support@,contact@,hello@orinfo@your domain โ a one-click link, and the fastest. - DNS TXT record on the domain.
- DNS CNAME record.
- HTML file uploaded to your webroot.
- Meta tag in your home page's
<head>.
Every check runs on our side; tokens expire after 7 days. If your listing has no website on it โ some compiled listings don't โ write to us from an address at your domain and we'll verify you against the phone number and address on the listing instead.
Step 2 โ Say what you actually do
This is the part buyers filter on, so it is worth ten minutes. From your dashboard settings you can set:
- Services โ SEO, PPC, content, web design, link building, and the rest. Each one you tick puts you on that service's page in the catalog.
- Industries โ SaaS, eCommerce, legal, healthcare, home services and so on. Buyers look for someone who has done it before in their field.
- Languages you can work in, and your city and country.
- Your logo, a description that sounds like you rather than like everyone else, contact details and opening hours.
Step 3 โ Collect reviews from clients
Anyone who has worked with you can review you. On the paid plans you can also invite clients directly: a review written through your invitation carries a Verified badge, which is the strongest signal on the page that the reviewer really was a client. Invitations go out from the dashboard, from a CSV, or through the API on the top plan.
You can reply publicly to any review, good or bad. Replies sit directly under the review and are the most-read part of a page for buyers who are deciding.
Step 4 โ Receive enquiries
Every agency page has a Contact agency button. What a buyer sends โ what they need, their budget range and their message โ lands on the Leads page of your dashboard, and we email you when one arrives.
On the free plan you see the whole enquiry with the sender's name and contact details masked. On a paid plan you see who it is and can reply directly. There is no charge per enquiry and no bidding: the subscription is the whole price, and the enquiry goes to you alone, not to five agencies at once.
The SignalSumo score
Pages can carry a score out of 100 set by our team from public data about your website โ its authority, technical health and organic traffic โ plus how complete your profile here is. You cannot buy it and subscribing does not raise it. The quickest way to move it is the ordinary one: fix your own site, and fill in your profile. Every page shows the date the score was set and the parts it was made from.
What it costs
Free forever for the listing, the profile, replies and enquiries with the sender masked. A monthly subscription adds the sender's details on every enquiry, client invitations with the Verified badge, the rating widget for your own site, AI reply drafts, competitor benchmarks, API access and team seats. Cancel any time; it ends at the end of the term. See Pricing.
