We hired Chalkbox Creative to update my decades-old logos and printed materials and website, and we are so happy that we'd be willing to pay them twice as much as they charged us. No joke.

My wife and I have design bona-fides, I was a graphic designer and she has both of her degrees in fine art; we are Dwell Magazine Nice Modernists, we've won awards for design. And, back in the 1990s, we designed some pretty good logo and graphic and web stuff for ourselves.

Well, it's not the 1990s anymore, and we knew that we needed an update, and we realized that we had not kept up with the latest in color palette theory or typography or any of that, and that we couldn't do the job ourselves any longer.

So, being critical and thoughtful people, we looked far and wide before choosing Chalkbox to modernize our look. We are so happy!!! They are easy to work with, and the results are amazing - their redesign has brought us roaring into the 21st century with an outstanding new presence that truly expresses what our brand is all about and puts us at the forefront of our field.

It's hard to let go of the past, but let me tell you: if your brand identity reminds customers of the 1990s, or even the 2000s, it's costing you money to hold on to that past. I can't say enough wonderful things about working with Josh from Chalkbox Creative for my new branding. I love that he meets with his clients in person--I feel that ideas are much easier to get across that way and you get a better sense of the person you're trying to create for.
